Military Readiness and Behavioral Health
CSS incorporates best practices in healthcare to support medical readiness. We are proud to work with partner firms to help the U.S. Armed Forces satisfy the medical readiness requirements that enable U.S. Service Members to meet any challenge. Through our network of providers, we support partners by staffing top quality providers to ensure the highest level of care for Military personnel. Our providers assess the overall health of U.S. Service Members and provide skilled treatment while working seamlessly within U.S. Government systems.
Our goal is to make sure every U.S. Service Member has optimum health before they deploy. This helps ensure they are equally ready for civilian life upon their return. Some of our CSS leaders are former Military and current Reservists who truly understand the unique needs of our Military members.
In medical treatment facilities, network clinics, on-location at group events, or through or our partners’ clinics, CSS offers these services to the U.S. Military:
Periodic health assessments Screening tests Behavioral health assessments Physical and dental exams Dental treatment Immunizations Audiology services Vision services Laboratory services X-rays and radiology services
Our innovative recruitment strategies provide customers with access to a large network of qualified clinicians in a variety of disciplines across the country and around the world. This includes Physicians, Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational and Physical Therapists, and Physician’s Assistants. Our broad array of qualified healthcare providers ensures customers are resourced with the right talent to fulfill their unique staffing needs.
Physicians, other medical staff, and non-medical staff recruited by CSS complete a rigorous pre-employment assessment process and must demonstrate the highest level of professional competency standards. We carefully screen applicants, which includes completing education and employment verifications, background checks, comprehensive skills assessment, and qualification tests. We then match the candidate’s level of experience to our clients’ requirements.
Credentialing and Quality Management
Credentialing is a key aspect of the overall provider data management, medical staff management, and provider processing. At CSS, our comprehensive approach ensures verifications are completed in accordance with national healthcare commissions and as required by federal contracts.
Our licensed medical professionals conduct health screenings on all pre-/post-deployment personnel to include Separation Health Physical Examinations (SHPE) on post-deployment Military personnel and general Soldier readiness health screenings along with primary care evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment for Service Members.
Pre-deployment services, also known as mobilization services, include lab work, immunizations, dental services, vision, and audiology screening. Post-deployment screenings, also known as demobilization, involve reviewing a post-deployment health assessment form to help with potential referrals to an appropriate clinic. Proper documentation is critical to a successful transition from Active Military duty to civilian life after duty.
Other medical services include post-deployment health reassessments, periodic health assessments, welcome center soldier assessments, active component readiness assessments, and routine medical evaluation, diagnostics, and treatments. Our goal is to maintain a seamless help desk support system that responds in a timely manner.
